Yes you read that correctly - for the price we sell the book you get the book, Top Producer AND Gary Keller!

If you want to take advantage of this great deal call Kim at (702)939-0004 to register or you can email SHIFT@KWLasVegas.com

Just when things were starting to look up, the events over the past two weeks involving the banks, lenders and other financial institutions have conspired to put a heavy brake on our local real estate market.

Again.

During the summer, the failure of a number of lenders, the collapse of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and other similar events produced a saw tooth looking sales market.  Up and promising one week, down and depressing the next.  As those events waned, the end of summer sales were surprisingly brisk, and it looked like for the first time since hurricane Katrina that our real estate sales would not take the sharp September drop seen each year.

But no, this was not to last.  Yet another catastrophic failure of the financial markets, which to me are a result of 8 years of poor leadership in Washington, sunk our real estate sales.  Sales these past two week are running at about 50% of what we had been witnessing during the summer.  It make me wonder what sales would have been like this fall had these financial failures not occurred.  Then again, maybe it would be the same as the 3 previous years with sales in this resort market dropping off once the boaters left.

Current Mortgage rates today are:

Conventional 15year fixed 5.5%

30year fixed 5.75%

FHA/VA30Year fixed 5.75%

SHIFT in the news

Gary Keller’s new book is Inman News’ top story

“Need help weathering the storm in today’s real estate market? If so, reach for Gary Keller’s new book, SHIFT— it’s the lifesaver you need today to thrive tomorrow,” stated Inman News columnist Bernice Ross.

In her weekly column on Friday, Sept. 12, Ross featured SHIFT: How Top Real Estate Agents Tackle Tough Times. The article reviews the 12 tactics outlined in the book and states that SHIFT is “rich in easy-to-understand strategies, charts, and illustrations that show you exactly what you need to do to thrive in today’s very challenging and ’shifted’ real estate market.” Click here to read the full article.

Keller Williams Realty/River Cities Specialists will have their own booth in the crafts section of the annual Bullhead City Cornfest, presented by the local Kiwanis groups.  The KW booth will feature hand crafted wallets, purses, and bags and similar items for sale at very low prices.  All profits from the sale of these items will go to KW Cares, a certified Keller Williams charity that helps KW associates and empoyees in times of need, such as those who have lost thier homes or businesses as a result of hurricane Ike.  After Katrina, KW cares donated more to needy families than any other private charity group.

We are very excited to have this opportunity to have a booth at the Cornfest and to donate our profits to charity.  KW Cares is one part of the famous Keller Williams Culture that we are so proud of.  Please stop by our booth on Friday September 26th or Saturday September 27th, check out our crafted accessories and chat with a Keller Williams representative.

Can’t wait to see you there!  If you have any questions please call Cliff Collipriest at (928)754-4269.

Thank You!
